For the Commerzbank “Direkt Depot” there are no fees as long as at least one transaction takes place per quarter. It does not matter whether this is a trade on a stock exchange of your choice or a savings plan execution. Once a transaction takes place, the condition for the free online brokerage account is met. If this is not the case, costs of 0.175% p.a., min. 4.95 EUR per quarter will be charged. Billing happens on a quarterly basis.

With the Commerzbank online broker account you can trade a wide range of assets. For shares, ETFs, certificates and bonds, the order fees comprise 0.25% of the price or nominal value and in addition a flat rate of 4.90 EUR (total minimum 9.90 EUR).

Savings plans are possible from as little as 25 EUR per month and you can choose from a variety of funds and ETFs from over 20 different providers. You can even save for selected products without purchase fees at all within the scope of special offers. ETF savings plans incur 0.25% of the transaction value and a flat fee of 2.50 EUR per execution.

You can manage your brokerage account both online in the browser and on the go via the Commerzbank mobile app. There you can check how your account is performing and also trade. In your electronic mailbox, you can easily find statements, tax-related purchase data and the quarterly report. In addition, you have the option of receiving comprehensive stock market information, the latest stock market-related news, watch lists and global prices in real time.
